RESURRECTION - WATERSHIELD #61 & #62

RESURRECTION - WATER SHIELD #61 & #62 oil on linen 6"x6" 2014 I will now present a series of magnified views of the Water Shield plant (Brasenia schreberi). It grows in the local ponds of Vermont and evolves into fantastic patterns and colors in the autumn, only to eventually sink to the bottom of the pond where it regenerates new life. Hence, resurrection.
